I am Julián Martínez.

Hi. I am so happy you stopped by. I am a seasoned actor, director, and teacher. Currently, I am an Associate Professor of Musical Theatre in the School of Theatre & Dance at East Carolina University. I have 30 years of professional experience. I have the pleasure of being a resident director for the Forestbugh Playhouse. Currently, I am working to develop programs at ECU that merge Theatre Practice and Healthcare.  Another passion I have is introducing Musical Theatre to students in Croatia, and serve as guest faculty for the Arts Academies of the University of Osijek and Split. I hold an MFA in Acting from Florida Atlantic University, a Certificate in the Practical Study from the Michael Chekhov Association, and am a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of North Carolina. 

I am married to the amazing artist, Rebecca Simon. We live in North Carolina. It's wonderful. I also am "Dad" to Tony, the best Labrador Retriever on Earth.
